Elegant Birthday Card

Elegant Birthday Card because your 98 today!

Made this card for a co-worker to give to her friend who was turning 98 years old! It's amazing how time just goes by so quickly. I was inspired to make this card by Joan Fricker of Joan's Garden. She had made this card at one of her workshops posted it on her site and I just loved it! Thank you Joan! I used the new Marianne Die and embosser, the new exquisite circles and lavender liquid pearls. I used a glitter paper in the background and glittered corner die from Cheery-Lyn Designs. The flower was Spellbinders Spiral Blossom One. Thanks for taking a peek at my card.

Hockey Birthday Card

Happy Birthday Jordan

This is a card I made for my friend Marybeth's son Jordan. He is an avid hockey player. I used my Cricut (Sports Mania) to cut the hockey player and scanned Jordan's team from a tee-shirt his mom supplied to me. Hope you enjoy this very special  card and Happy Birthday Jordan! I still can't believe you're thirty!

WORLD CARD MAKING DAY CHALLENGE

World Card Making Day Challenge
October 6, 2012
Another Thanksgiving Day card I made today to enter into the World Card Making Day Challenge. I made the flowers using my Spellbinders Itty Bitty Blossoms and made the third flower using a paper bag and placed a bitty flower in the center. The leaves are from Cuttlebug and I use my new Spellbinders MATT A&B. I just love those mats! The sentiment is from Stampin Up Teenie Tiny Wishes. I used a laced gold ribbon under the flowers. It's hard to see but I ran the background paper through my crimper to add more texture.  Thanks for looking and I sure would appreciate your vote.
We are so blessed!

Thanksgiving Day Card

Thanksgiving Day Card
This is another card I made October 6, 2012. I used the Cuttlebug Leaves die, and Fiskar's ribbon punch. I made the background of the Give Thanks sentiment and sponged the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink tea dye. The ribbon is from Gina K that matches the cardstock color tomato soup! I just love her cardstock! We have so much to give thanks for.

World Card Making Day Challenge

This challenge is unique in the fact that the only cards you can enter are the ones you make today. I love that! I used my new ribbon threader die from Spellbinders. I made my own background (Happy Thanksgiving) on my computer. The leaves and embossing is Cuttlebug and the pine branches are a Cheery-Lyn die. Used my ribbon like a banner! Thanks for taking a peek at my card and I would love your vote!
